Food is an important part of the experience at Strands Hotel & Screes Inn, Cumbria, with dining available through the restaurant and pub at The Strands, alongside the Screes Smokehouse. The restaurant offers lunch from 12 noon until 3.30pm and dinner from 5pm until 8.30pm, creating plenty of opportunity to enjoy a relaxed meal during a visit to the Lake District.

Sunday is particularly popular, with the venue's well-known Sunday Roast served from 12 noon until it sells out. Reservations are strongly recommended, particularly during the summer months and for Sunday dining. Guests staying at the hotel can also enjoy breakfast between 7am and 9am, making it easy to start a day of exploring the surrounding countryside with a meal before heading out.

For something different, The Screes Smokehouse provides a dedicated BBQ smokehouse experience, opening on Fridays and Saturdays with food served until 9pm.
