I was born in Hackney, London, but grew up in Hertfordshire. I did my PhD in medical sciences at Leicester university and became a research scientist with my own laboratory. After I retired I moved to Ormesby St Margaret in 2020. I attend St. Mary Virgin Church, Hemsby, which owns The Barn Room. I volunteered to take the bookings for the Barn Room, which I enjoy doing as I meet so many lovely people.
