Tamesis Dock is a truly distinctive London venue: a converted 1930s Dutch barge permanently moored on the River Thames between Lambeth and Vauxhall Bridge. Now operating as a walk-on neighbourhood bar, live music and events space, it combines character, riverside views and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The boat has a fascinating history, having previously been used to transport goods during the Second World War and, in another chapter of its life, as a Dutch champagne barge travelling between Paris and Holland.
